All Children are a vital part of the ministries here at First Baptist. Jesus said, “let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” (Mark 10:14) Our ministries to children include:
Our Sunday School begins each Sunday morning at 9:15 am and is led by passionate teachers. Our Children’s Sunday School is available for all ages. Lessons and stories come straight from the Bible and children leave with take-home reminders of the lesson for the day.
The KidZone, is open during all ministries of the church and filled with several climbing structures and many other interactive children’s toys and crafts. An audio feed is available so the service isn't missed!
From time to time, our children are invited to be engaged in music led by the church’s music directors. Drums, tambourines, xylophones, bells, and other instruments are available for our children to play.
Held each year just before Easter. Our Community Easter Egg Hunt allows children to engage in the fun of finding Easter eggs filled with prizes. Lunch is always included as part of the fellowship.
Our priority at First Baptist is that each child develops a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Classes, which prayerfully lead to a life-changing decision, are available for our children. Baptism by immersion is practiced at First Baptist.
